TAKE NOTE: An Artist Concert Series at Meridian Street

 

Take Note, a non-profit organization promotes excellence
in live musical performances.

 

The inaugural season presents nine concerts, each on the third Sunday of the month (September 2023 through May 2024) from 4–5 pm, and offers a diverse range of musical experiences featuring emerging and established artists. Take Note strives to spark an appreciation for the lifelong love of musical arts and to foster and maintain the highest aspirations in creating performances and programs of excellence.

 

The Board of Take Note embodies and embraces diversity of all kinds
as they strive to produce one-of-a-kind musical events that will thrill both longtime
concert-goers and musical newcomers of all ages. Expect a diverse range of
musical styles including classical, jazz, pops, and chamber music,
all to engage and entertain the communities we serve.

Indianapolis Municipal Band
Indy's premiere community band

October 15:

Musicians from the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra

Kevin Lin and Sherry Hong, violins; Yu Jin, viola; Austin Huntington, cello;
and Nicha Stapanukul, piano.

 

November 19:

Indianapolis Arts Chorale

A Community of Musical Excellence in Choral Singing

December 17:

The Choirs of Meridian Street
Join us to hear the Chancel and Bell Choirs of Meridian Street United Methodist Church,
under the direction of Peter Nichols.Works by Rutter, Wagner, Tchaikovsky,
and Forrest, plus a few Christmas Carols.

January 21:

Concerts are free and open to the public, a free will offering will be accepted.

Irish Music for St Paddy's Day!

Contemporary Latin Music

International Organist, direct from Germany

 

Concerts, open to the public and free of charge, will take place at Meridian Street United Methodist Church, 5500 North Meridian Street, Indianapolis, Indiana.
